About Goodland Kiwanis Club
Founded in 1915 and headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
The principal core of the Kiwanis mission is the belief that the most effective way to enhance a community is to enhance its children.
When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, and succeed, great things will happen.
The Goodland Kiwanis Club was chartered on June 7, 1949!

Our Projects
U.S Flag Project
We raise money by selling subscriptions to place an American Flag in any Goodland resident’s yard or business 6 times a year to help support our community and country.
Food Shack
The Kiwanis food shack is known for its world-famous Kiwanis Burger. It is open at the Annual 4th of July Freedom Festival Event as well as the week of the Northwest Kansas District Free Fair, held annually the first week in August.
Demolition Derby
In partnership with Grandstand Attractions the Goodland Kiwanis Club is the coordinator for the Demolition Derby at the Northwest Kansas District Free Fair.
"Egg My Yard"
Kiwanis “Egg My Yard” is an annually event were Goodland Kiwanis Club volunteers hide Easter eggs in the front yard on Easter Eve for all of those who sign up! Donations are welcome. After expenses, profits are donated to a worthy cause.
Toys For Tots
The Goodland Kiwanis Club partners and participates with Sherman County Genesis for our local toy collection campaign and toy distribution which takes place in December.
Meals On Wheels
The Goodland Kiwanis Club volunteers to deliver Meals On Wheels twice a year. This service makes a huge impact to those in need by delivering nutritious food and friendly visits in our community.
